Islamabad High Court GIVES FOUR DAYS TO AGP TO RECOVER AHMED FARHAD

The request for the recovery of the missing poet Ahmed Farhad was heard in the Islamabad High Court.
Federal Interior Secretary and IG Islamabad appeared on the summons of the court, Defense Secretary did not appear.
Earlier, the Islamabad High Court summoned the defense secretary and the interior secretary in the missing case of poet Farhad Ahmed.

Islamabad High Court Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani heard the case related to the disappearance of poet Ahmed Farhad, in which Ahmed Farhad’s lawyer Iman Mazari made arguments in the court while representatives of the Ministry of Defense and relevant officials appeared in the court.

During the hearing, Iman Mazari told the court that Ahmad Farhad’s wife Urooj Zainab received a WhatsApp call and was told to withdraw the application to the court and state that Ahmed Farhad had gone voluntarily.

The Attorney General assured the recovery of Ahmad Farhad and said that he will do whatever it takes to recover Ahmad Farhad.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani said that you will save or recover. On which the Attorney General said that of course, everything will be done.

“You have to ensure that no person is picked up from Islamabad, if that person is not recovered, it will be a failure of the state,” the court said.
